I come from a small town in Iran called Bardaskan. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and later moved to Germany to pursue a master’s degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology at RWTH Aachen.

I recently completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau under the supervision of Professor Andreas Dengel. My thesis, titled “Image and Video Analysis in Challenging Scenarios”, focused on advancing deep learning and computer vision techniques in complex environments.

Over the past three years, I have worked in Algolux and Torc Robotics on the perception stack of autonomous driving systems, collaborating closely with Professor Felix Heide, Dr. Fahim Mannan, and Dr. Omid Hosseini Jafari.

I have recently relocated to the beautiful city of Vienna, where I’m joining Canva as a Senior Applied Scientist, focusing on Generative AI.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, learning new things, and going on long walks.
